Seekonk River Commons redefines the river’s edge by merging community engagement with ecological restoration. Reintroducing ribbed mussels and cordgrass to naturally filter pollutants will transform a contaminated waterway into a regenerative habitat. Interactive waterfront spaces encourages human connection with the landscape, promoting environmental awareness and well-being, showing how thoughtful design can heal both ecosystems and communities.
