In collaboration with the Jamestown Community
Supported by Rhode Island Sea Grant and the Dean’s Fund, this 125-page final report documents a Spring 2025 integrated capstone studio exploring climate-resilient solutions for Jamestown’s Mackerel and Sheffield Coves. Developed by 19 senior landscape architecture students in collaboration with the ocean/civil engineering capstone class, the Capstone project integrates site analysis, community engagement, and visionary design strategies. The report sets a new standard for academic design as a public resource for community-centered planning and design.
